Ije-Enu Udeze Nwosu is the Executive Director of Impact Spending at Kaiser Permanente. In her role, Ije leads the Total Health Spend Optimization program of the Buy to Pay Shared Service- ensuring the total spend of Kaiser Permanente is maximized in terms of delivery along three key dimensions: affordability/cost, environmental sustainability, and community impact. With a focus on bolstering local and national spend in Kaiser Permanente communities with the highest needs, Ije has oversight of national supplier diversity, environmentally preferable purchasing and KP POWER, the initiative she spearheaded to amplify gender-focused activities that attract, retain and equitably advance women at Kaiser Permanente. Ije was formerly the Chief of Staff to the chairman and CEO.
A committed community leader, Ije serves on the boards of Girls Inc. of Alameda County, MAKERS@ and Utuh USA (an organization supporting education and economic revitalization in Eastern Nigeria). She was also named a “Top 40 under 40” executive by the San Francisco Business Times and was recognized by Modern Healthcare with both the “Up and Comer” award and as one of the “Top 10 Minority Executives in Healthcare to Watch”.
Earning a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University, a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and completing the Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School, Ije believes that every individual has a super power and the gift you give the world is to unapologetically live yours to the fullest.
