Board of Directors
Tara Walpert Levy leads the Agency and Brand Solutions teams for Google and YouTube. She is responsible for Google’s advertising business through third party partners, for Industry Relations, and for specialist teams ranging from Measurement solutions to Creative services to Multicultural offerings to Deal negotiations. Before this, Tara led Ads Product Marketing for Google, YouTube, and Doubleclick.
Tara has been an Independent Director of the Board and member of the Audit Committee of Bloomin’ Brands, Inc. since 2013. She is also a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Ad Council and Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the American Advertising Federation (AAF).
Prior to Google, Tara was the President of Visible World (now owned by Comcast), building the company into the leading targeted TV advertising platform. She also spent five years at McKinsey & Company, where she was a leader of the Global Media & Entertainment and Sales & Marketing groups.
Tara writes and speaks frequently on the shifting marketing and media landscape. She has been inducted into the AAF Advertising Hall of Achievement, identified as a dMexco Global Trailblazer, and named one of Fast Company’s “Most Creative People in Business”, an AdAge “Woman to Watch” and one of Crain’s “40 Under 40” in NYC.
Tara lives in New York City with her husband and their three children.
